Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is Givartz, Panama City, Panama. For any privacy matter, write to contact@givartz.com.

2. Data we collect

• ✦Contact form and "strategy session" pop-up: name, email, company, services of interest, budget and message.
• ✦Academy waitlist: name, email, WhatsApp (optional), modules of interest and language.
• ✦Academy account: email address and technical sign-in session data.
• ✦Purchases: name, email, product and order number shared with us by Polar. We never receive your card details.
• ✦Learning progress: the lessons you mark as completed.
• ✦Browsing: anonymous or pseudonymous usage data through Google Analytics (pages visited, device, approximate country).
• ✦Messages you send us via WhatsApp or email.

3. How we use it

• ✦To answer your requests and prepare proposals.
• ✦To give you access to Givartz Academy and record your purchases and progress.
• ✦To notify you when waitlisted modules launch.
• ✦To send you communications about your courses (sign-in links, module updates, certificates).
• ✦To measure and improve the site.
• ✦To meet legal obligations and prevent fraud.

We only send promotional communications if you joined the waitlist or gave us your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Legal basis

We process your data with your consent (given when you submit a form or create an account), to perform the purchase or service you request and, where applicable, to comply with legal obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We only share it with providers that help us run the site, under their own security measures:

• ✦Vercel: website hosting.
• ✦Supabase: Academy database and accounts.
• ✦Polar (and its payment processor Stripe): course payments.
• ✦DreamHost: email delivery.
• ✦Google Analytics: site usage statistics.
• ✦Bunny.net: course video playback.

Some of these providers store data on servers outside Panama, mainly in the United States. By using the site you consent to this transfer, which we make with providers that apply recognized security standards.

6. Cookies and local storage

• ✦Essential: keep you signed in to Givartz Academy. The student area does not work without them.
• ✦Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visits in aggregate.
• ✦Preferences: we remember, for the current visit only, whether you closed the "strategy session" pop-up.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser; if you block essential cookies you will not be able to sign in to Academy.

7. How long we keep it

We keep contact and waitlist data until you ask us to delete it or it is no longer needed. Account and purchase data is kept while you have access to your courses and for as long as legal and tax obligations require.

8. Your rights

Under Law 81 of 2019 you may at any time exercise your rights of:

• ✦Access: know what data of yours we process.
• ✦Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• ✦Cancellation: ask us to delete your data.
• ✦Objection: object to a specific use, such as promotional communications.
• ✦Portability: receive a copy of your data in a structured format.

To exercise them, write to contact@givartz.com from the email linked to your data. We will respond within the time limits set by law. If you believe we did not address your request, you may contact Panama’s National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwordless sign-in through single-use links, rules that prevent one student from seeing another’s data, and videos protected with signed links. No system is infallible, but we apply reasonable measures to protect your information.

10. Minors

The site is not intended for people under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a minor gave us data without that consent, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page with its update date.
